The code names for the South Korean company’s next smartwatches, namely Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 , have leaked in the past few days and would confirm a significant change in the composition of the range. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro model would be in the works but, according to what is learned from the SamMobile site , the trade name of the unit could include the words “Ultra” .
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5: what we know at the moment
The code names, initially discovered by GalaxyClub colleagues , are precisely Heart-S , Heart-L and Heart-Pro . In detail, starting from the first of the three we have just indicated, Heart-S would be directly connected to the more compact version of the next range of Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (40-42 mm): it is associated with the model number “SM-R90x” .
The codename Heart-L should instead refer to the larger model of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (44mm or 46mm). The latter is associated with the model number “ SM-R91x “. Finally, the code name Heart-Pro would correspond to the model number “SM-R92x” and to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro which, however, could be called Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Ultra (available in one size).
All the units we have talked about so far should boast on board the presence of a battery with a higher capacity than those mounted on the models of the previous generation of Samsung smartwatches. The basic version, for example, could be powered by a module with a capacity of 276 mAh: think that on the 40 mm Galaxy Watch 4 there is a 247 mAh battery.
In conclusion, we want to suggest you an absolutely unmissable offer regarding the current model: for a few days, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be available on Amazon for just 202.50 euros thanks to a stratospheric discount of 45%
