Following the Honor Magic4 Pro , the company introduced an even more advanced version of its flagship with the Ultimate prefix. The smartphone retained all the key features of its predecessor, but bypassed it in terms of mobile shooting due to an even more advanced set of sensors and optics.
The key change in the design of the Ultimate version was the updated main camera. Its main 50-megapixel sensor is equipped with a larger matrix (1 / 1.12 “) compared to its predecessor, supplemented by an eight-lens lens with f / 1.6 aperture and optical stabilization. The company has also upgraded the wide-angle module (126 °), the resolution of which has increased to 64 MP (1/2”, f/2.2).
The zoom camera of the smartphone has remained the same – it is a 64 megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens (optical zoom 3.5x) and OIS. In addition, the gadget is still equipped with a ToF sensor for measuring the distance to objects and the depth of the scene, as well as a proprietary sensor for determining color temperature and flicker.
The image processor of the model has changed – it received a custom chip with a declared performance of up to 28.8 TOPS and processing of 20 bits per channel. It supports 4K night mode with live preview and Magic-Log 2 video recording with high dynamic range (10-bit, 4K @ 60 fps).
Otherwise, the characteristics of the Honor Magic4 Pro Ultimate Edition are identical to the previously presented Pro modification. The smartphone is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, equipped with a 6.81-inch curved 120Hz OLED display and a 4600 mAh battery with support for 100-watt charging via cable or over the air. The body of the smartphone, protected according to the IP68 standard, is made of glass and metal.
The start of sales of new items in black and white cases and a single 12/512 GB memory configuration will take place in April at a price of $1259. The manufacturer has not yet announced the availability of the smartphone outside the Chinese market.
